International Women in Engineering Day celebrates its 8th year

Today (23 June) is International Women in Engineering Day. The Women’s Engineering Society’s (WES) international awareness campaign, INWED – now in its 8th year – was established to raise the profile of women in engineering and focus more attention on the attractive and diverse career opportunities that are available to women and girls in this industry.
