Brennan Industries unveils new UK facility

Brennan Industries has opened a brand new, purpose-built facility in Walsall, located at 50 Wharf Approach in the heart of the West Midlands.

R&G Fluid Power Group acquires Fluid Power Services and Hedley Hydraulics

R&G Fluid Power Group Ltd has acquired Fluid Power Services Ltd and Hedley Hydraulics Ltd, further cementing R&G’s position in the UK fluid power industry and strengthening its hydraulics division Established in 1988, Fluid Power Services Ltd is located on the docks in Liverpool with a branch also in Warrington. Both branches benefit from active trade counters, stock holdings and access to a wide range of hydraulic and pneumatic products.

Fluke showcases new tools for energy efficiency and safety at Light + Building

At this year’s Light + Building exhibition, held at Messe Frankfurt, Fluke revealed a selection of new-to-market and rugged, handheld tools and approaches for energy efficiency, enhancing the adoption of cleantech technology and improving safety. At the event, Fluke showcased its comprehensive range of solutions across thermal and acoustic imaging, power quality and condition monitoring, and wiring system performance that enable civil engineers, installation professionals, electricians and facility managers to safely detect and isolate faults.

Festo aims for CO2 neutrality by 2023

Festo plans substantially to reduce its own carbon footprint over the next two years. Dr. Oliver Jung, Festo’s CEO (pictured), said at the company’s International Press Conference in Esslingen: “All of our production and logistics sites worldwide, including the German sales locations and the corporate headquarters in Esslingen, will be CO2-neutral from the beginning of 2023.”

Private investor Rcapital is to acquire Trac Precision Machining, a specialist engineering business serving the aerospace, energy and defence sectors, from Chromalloy Gas Turbine LLC, part of Sequa Corporation. DFA Media sells the Drives Show but keeps the magazines
